Historical Overview

  Over the past 48 years, Qinhuangdao Audio-visual Machinery Research Institute has achieves more than 400 scientific research achievements including over 70 achievements getting honored. Apart from it, we have cultivated a number of talents. Surely, we have made great contributions to the development of the film industry, education and the culture and office undertakings.

  In the film industry, we have finished the 35mm stunt film camera (win the prize from Ministry of culture), X-ray camera, 35mm pistolgraph (maximum frequency: 120 frame per second), 16mm hand-held electric camera, 16mm pistolgragh (frequency: 6 to 144 frames per second, win the third prize of the Ministry of Machinery Industry), 8.75mm camara, etc. which have met the needs of various kinds of cameras. Among all these products, the 16mm pistolgragh has sold more than 60 sets with continuous demanding.

  In recent years, our 35mm 8-perforation herizontal film transport cine-camera has exported to the USA, and won the golde prize of the World Exposition. The 35mm all-purpose camera won the firsr prize of the State Administration of Radio Film and Television. The multi-functioal printing machine won the second prize of the State Administration of Radio Film and Television. In addition, the circarama camera made a great success while making films in Tebet, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Dalian and Shandong.

  Our Research Institute has developed tens of lenses for different kinds of photographic equipment. And the manufacture and technology processing of the photographic varifocal lens has promoted the technological progress of this field. The 16mm 6 times varifocal lens (focal length: 12.5 to 75mm) won prize in the National Conference on Science, the 16 mm 15 times varifocal lens (focal length: 10 to 150mm) won the first prize of the Ministry of Machinery Industry.

  Our Research Institute has developed various kinds of projection equipment and tens of projection lenses, and we are in the leading position in domestic level in this field. The JF70/5p dome-screen lens has won the third prize of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. In addition, lots of lenses are in gread demand in the market with difficult techniques such as the JF35/4pf15, f16, f36 and f36 projection lenses, the JF70/8pf50 and f55 projection lenses and the JF70/8p dome-screen lenses. As the products have met the needs of the domestic market and won a great reputation, some of them have stepped into the oversea market. The potical engineering of the Heroic Exploits Hall of the Beijing-Tianjin Campaign Memorial finished in May, 1995, and the quality of the image achieved a great deal of success.

  Photo Shock Absorber produced by our Reseach Institute makes the operators more comfortable using the damping structure. You can get a satisfied outcome for any occasions especially for movies, TV plays, TV interviews, live coverage and other photographic occasions. It can also be used in buses, trains, plans and other special occasions with appropriate attachment combined.

  Our research institute was under the direct control of film machinery reseach institute of the central authority, and has got both economic and social benefit in the developing of the 3-D movie, 70mm large-screen film, 35mm and 70mm demo-screen movie, circular-screen movie, back projection movie, etc. During 1970s, we got a significant breakthrough in audio-vedio equipment which promoted the development of the audio-vedio products. The first automatical projector for mass produce was developed by our Research Institute and Hunan Film Machinery Factory, and the first transmission educational projector for mass produce was developed by our Research Institute and Zhengzhou Camera Factory. Above all, some products developed by us are still of great value, like the transmission projector, high brightness projector, etc.

  As for the office machinery, our research institute has made groundbreaking work plan which gave a guaidance to the success in many fields. Also, our research institute has made up a document distribution system succesfully. Accroding to the need of the market, we developed the glass on-line detector and the transmittance tester, which widen our technology field to the architecture material industry. And the glass on-line detector has passed the test of the Hebei provincial science and technology committee.
